Our Story

The maison behind the whisper.

Founded in 1982 by Aurélie Blanchet, our atelier remains a quiet room in Paris where couture is still made the old way — slowly, and with love.

Chapter One

A promise, quietly kept.

Aurélie Blanchet was twenty-four when she opened a small room above a florist on Rue Saint-Honoré. She had one sewing machine, three bolts of silk, and a promise to her first bride: "I will make you a gown you will remember your whole life."

Forty years later, that promise still hangs above the atelier door. It is the only rule we obey.

Our Values

Three vows we make to every bride.

01

Handcrafted

Every gown is cut, stitched and embroidered by hand in our atelier — no shortcuts, no compromise.

02

Bespoke

Nine fittings. Endless conversation. A gown that becomes an extension of you.

03

Timeless

We design for the woman you will remember being, not the season you happen to marry in.

The Founder

Aurélie Blanchet.

Trained at Chanel and Dior, Aurélie broke away in 1982 to build something smaller and more sacred: a house that would only make wedding dresses, and only make them by hand.

"A wedding gown is a very small piece of theatre. My job is to make sure the woman inside it never forgets she is the star."
